Known for his black and white just-rolled-out-of-bed-yet-I-still-look-good designs, Alexander Wang has released a dance-yo-pants-off short that stars singer Santigold and rapper Spank Rock for his diffusion label T by Alexander Wang’s Fall 2011 campaign. The duo breaks it down to a remix of Santi’s new single “Go”, shot by Dan Jackson. A Wang certainly knows how to pick his “It” girls and boys. Past campaigns have featured Zoe Kravitz and Diplo.

Ri ri is replacing Megan Fox as the new face of Emporio Armani underwear and Armani Jeans ad campaigns for Fall-Winter 2011-2012. Speaking of bringing the heat, New York fashion retailers Carol Lim and Humberto Leon will take over as Creative Directors of Kenzo, the French label founded by Japanese designer Kenzo Takada and owned by LVMH. The founding besties of Opening Ceremony have seen much success with their contemporary-cool boutiques in New York, Los Angeles, and Tokyo, as well as an e-commerce site. From collaborating with brands like Rodarte and Maison Martin Margiela to partnering with Chloe Sevigny for her label, Lim and Leon know what’s cool and what the market wants. Good for Kenzo which woulda been done-zo otherwise. The duo will most likely be splitting their time between New York and Paris, along with their team of designers, to prepare for Kenzo’s next women’s collection to be shown at Paris Fashion Week in October.
