Drop The Lime (Trouble and Bass fame) is getting ready for a North American tour where he will perform his new live show, which we hear will be a mix of fifties rock 'n' roll and bass-heavy club music. Gotta admit that those are some odd reference points to bring together for a show. To make it all complete, he’ll be joined on stage with vintage-costumed backup singers and dancers along with a live drummer while he sings with a guitar strapped in hand. It definitely has us looking forward to seeing what the hell it’s all about.
The tour will launch in San Francisco in late September and will trek through Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, Montreal, Buffalo, Washington D.C, and Boston to name a few. He’ll also DJ a handful of dates in Canada in late October.
There’s no release date yet for his upcoming full-length debut Enter The Night, but we imagine this tour will be a great opportunity for him to preview material from the upcoming album. To coincide with the tour, Ultra Music will release “Shake Baby Shake,” a new club single from Drop The Lime on September 27 and you can currently pick up “Hot As Hell” via Ultra Music.
Here’s a video showing a behind-the-scenes look at his debut live show at New York’s Music Hall in Williamsburg from earlier this year.
