I wasn’t planning on hitting Hard Haunted Mansion this weekend, but Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs might just make me buckle. I hear they kicked butt playing at CMJ this past week. Lets hope the wildly enthusiastic crowds they saw in New York continue as Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs hits the road this week for the rest of his North American tour. Seriously, what’s not to love about a live show that includes bizarre instruments, glitter cannons and of course… what else, but dancing dinosaurs.

To coincide, TEED (screw that, I just like saying Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs) has shared a short introductory film which was produced by Channel 4 in the UK, and directed by David Terranova for Falko Haus. UK folks are probably up on this face, but apparently previous Channel 4 4Play films have featured Adele, The Drums, Grinderman, Metronomy and many more. Anywho… this particular film follows the band (nee Orlando Higginbottom) while touring the European festival circuit this past summer. If you like the idea of candid footage of him at work in his home studio, chatting about his musical background and production techniques, and mixing that all up with some rather nice footage from his live show then watch on.

And if you don’t already have it, you can pick up “Trouble” now. Here’s the video:
