February, the month where cupid takes over and individuals obsess [I read girls. –ED] over Valentine’s Day. A day where people heavily invest their money, affection and time to show their significant other how much they care for just 24 hours. Thankfully, the month of February is going to treat Los Angeles electronic dance music addicts’ right.
Insomniac events is hosting two amazing artists at the Wiltern and Palladium, one a duo group reigning from Australia, the other a man who can take the minds of people to another level. Request from fans flooded Insomniac’s twitter page begging Pasquale Rotella to bring said artists to the city of Angels and of course, Insomniac delivered. Knife Party and Dash Berlin. Yes. I’ll repeat Knife Party and Dash Berlin with invade Los Angeles. Yes yes. While guys stress about ordering a dozen roses in time to send to their girlfriends or ladies running to the mall to buy lingerie, Knife Party fans will start creating their metallic silver masks, while Dash Berlin trance junkies count down the days to watch their genre heavyweight in action.
Knife Party will play Saturday, February 18 at the Wiltern (18+ w/ID) with Codes and Dash Berlin will play at the Palladium, Friday, February 24 (18+ w/ID as well). Tickets are available (go here for Knife and for Dash here) and I assure you both shows will sell out. If you don’t want to be that person dancing outside the venue as the music blasts from within, buy your tickets now. Or not and let me tell you all about it after the fact.
