The phrase: “Whole-Wide World Done Heard of Us” flashes on-screen in obtrusive orange letters, spliced between dancing party-goers throwing chaotic hands at the DJ booth. This scene comes from the recently released PeaceTreaty video shot at Voyeur in San Diego. Signed to Steve Aoki’s label Dim Mak, PeaceTreaty released their first EP in February 2011 and have a full-length LP dropping in Summer 2012. The aforementioned video exhibits PeaceTreaty’s (Josh Anaya and Angelo Patino-Patroni) characteristic sound, dubbed high-energy electro-house, and the effect it has on an audience. Of this, the duo offers:

PeaceTreaty

Going on stage in front of people, there is a natural electric feeling you get from all the bodies, and everybody partying out there, you feel it in the air.

With an attitude like that, it’s only a matter of time until the “Whole-Wide World” will hear of PeaceTreaty.
