Let us warn you about a young feller who is ready for world domination, or so it seems. At just 19 years old, Vermont-born Pierce Fulton has taken significant strides in the past year to set himself apart from the never-ending pool of emerging artists with production value that's hard to touch. The complexity, crispness and diversity of sounds he brings to the table is truly incredible...you must take a listen for yourself. From dirty electro-house to downtempo genius, whatever Pierce touches sounds good to us and we are usually pretty critical.

While he may still be under the radar to most, he is fresh off gigs opening for Tïesto at the closing party of Electro Beach in Puerto Vallarta and headlining the esteemed XS Nightclub in Las Vegas. With huge official remixes of Felix Cartal "Domo" (Dim Mak) and Chuckie feat. Gregor Salto "What Happens In Vegas" (Cr2 Records), amongst support on Tïesto's Club Life and Above and Beyond's Trance Above The World podcasts, it is certain that Pierce isn't going anywhere.

Along those lines, the debate is hot about DJ/producers being labeled under a particular genre, and how it can promote negative connotations and "limitations." Pierce is a perfect example of just the opposite, showing off musical talent rather than sticking to a specific sub-genre to sell records or book gigs.

The beautifully shot video below follows Pierce down to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico to join Steve Aoki and Laidback Luke at week two of Electro Beach. With three beautiful days at hand, Pierce enjoys some quiet time (for once) at the private artist villa, enjoys some incredible Mexican food, and then finally hits Xtine with Luke on night three.

Pierce gives us a glimpse into life on the road, how the electronic dance world comes full circle and drawings of his song structures that transform into dancefloor euphoria. We can't wait for his release of downtempo track "10/6 (That Should Do It)" (Original Mix), the last track in the video. For more on Pierce, check out his recent interview with Electrify Mag.
