Just came across this series of photos from German artist Markus Reugels. If you’ve got a thing for high-speed macro photography check this out. Reugels places water and paint on a balloon that is stretched out over a speaker that is facing upright. He then uses the basslines from techno, and a connected microphone that triggers his camera/flash to take a shot when sound is heard. I so wish I knew what songs correlate with what images—I wanna know what a Skrillex drop looks like compared to, say, Plastikman perhaps? Reugels claims that there’s no Photoshop involved in the making of these images.
