I Love This City electronic music festival is a new event founded by Live Nation, which will take place on May 25 and 26 at the beautiful Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View. The event spans across two days with two different lineups, which feature a variety of acts for pretty much every kind of listener. I’m pleased to see some California-bred talent alongside international favorite headliners, so you don’t want to miss out if you have the opportunity to give this festival’s debut a shot.

While I Love This City was originally planned to take place at the AT&T Park, the move to the Shoreline Amphitheatre makes things even better with a later curfew and reduced admission age, allowing fans as young as 16 to enjoy the show. The production includes three stages, many art installations and of course those huge LED screens you love to stare at all night. Single day GA tickets for Friday are going for $50, while Saturday GA tickets are $60. You can buy a weekend pass for $100. Shuttle info and further details can be found on their site.

The best part about I Love This City, though, is definitely the fact that it happens the following Monday (May 27) in San Diego. The folks who know what’s up will be smart to make an entire weekend roadtrip out of it. Imagine hitting the festival up north and then driving down to SD for a third day of madness, why not! The lineup down south on Monday is sure to be a hit as well…

Tickets for the SD edition of I Love This City go for a total of $54 and can be purchased via Live Nation here. Of course, we suggest going for the California electronic roadtrip option and going to everything. But if you must limit yourself, chose wisely from these three options. Further updates and info can be found on their Facebook and Twitter.
