Well, you’re not really going to be able to hop of the train with those folks for a party, but they will be traveling on the private “Full Flex Express” caboose to play festivals in Ottawa, Montreal, Toronto, Winnipeg, Edmonton and Vancouver. That would be pretty ill, tho, to take over a train for a travelling party. If Hard can do a cruise ship, I say why the hell not. Even if it isn’t that practical, it would be a fun ass ride. There’s something rather appealing about traveling by train—especially with a bunch of your pals and like-minded folk. Anywho, the party goes down at each stop and we’re told that there will be multiple stages to soak up the massive crowds.
The inspiration for this tour is a nod to a similar tour/route that went down in 1970 featuring Janis Joplin, The Grateful Dead and The Band. When asked about the run of dates, Skrillex said:
We were really inspired when Mumford and Sons and Edward Sharp and those guys did a train tour. We wanted to do it as well and share this music with people across Canada. Just to do it and have fun.
