Feeling charged for some post Labor Day merrymaking? We sure in the hell are. For all you EDM culture junkies out there here's a gaggle of events up and down the So Cal coast worthy of mention.

San Diego

Thursday

DJ duo DirtyLoud will be featured at San Diego’s hottest nightclub, Voyeur. Recently the club has been running a FREE COVER with an RSVP on Thursdays and Fridays. This Thursday will be no different, get to the club before 10:30 (which means reaching the ticket counter by 10:30) to receive your free admission!

Friday will be no different than Thursday when Voyeur continues their FREE COVER BEFORE 10:30. Oliver Twizt will be hitting the 1s and 2s for the hottest Friday night in San Diego. Be sure to get there early, no matter who is DJing the night hits capacity. Mark this word.

Voyeur has it all figured out this weekend. Several different style of DJing will be showcased throughout the weekend. Capping off the weekend with a Saturday night performance is Digitalism with a DJ set. Tickets are cheap on the only night they are charging, $15!

Orange County get ready for a night of excitement! Nicky Romero is in the house! Tickets are only $25 to see this HUGE DJ invade Sutra. The night will most likely sell out as most of Romero’s shows do. Don’t miss this show or you’re probably be thinking “WTF!

Friday

Sutra does not stop the party. Friday night emerging DJ/producer Travis Emmons will take the stage for somewhat of his hometown crowd. Come out and support good music with this Hollywood native. You are on list for free before 10:30 by saying, “Dance More. Worry Less.” After 10:30 it’ll be a cheap $20. Oh yeah and a hosted bar from 9-10 pm.

CONTROL Avalon has another big Friday night. When three emerging performers take the stage including Drop the Lime live, Popeska and Midnight Conspiracy. If you are unfamiliar with any of the acts, Avalon only brings in the best of the best. But beforehand get a little familiar below. Tickets are $20!

Insomniac’s Awakening Fridays at Exchange LA has been showcasing some of the best in trance and dance. This week John O’Callaghan is here to spread his Irish luck. Tickets are $20 and if you are into trance/tech this is a show you will not want to miss!

Saturday

If you aren’t able to make it to Avalon on Friday then why not go to Avaland on Saturday? The night will go off when the legendary DJ Sidney Sampson steps up behind the booth. Tickets are $25 and if this show doesn’t reach capacity then Los Angeles is still hung over from LDW.

Our friends over at A Club Called Rhonda will be hosting a big night! They always go big. This time around they have performances by King Britt, Nicholas, and Simoncino and will surely be madness all night long. The club turns on the open sign at 9 pm and who knows what time the last creature will be leaving. RSVP HERE for discounted entry.

Sinden and Nick Hook at Lil Death. The weekly event in downtown LA. Expect a mixed bag of post punk, cold wave, witch house, french techno, post trap, goth rock and dark disco—done The Overthrow Collective style.This week is Sinden and Nick Hook with resident DJs Tamara Sky and Josh Lecash. If the weekend or the sun hasn’t gotten you in Orange County, then why not end the weekend at Ten Nightclub in Newport Beach? It’ll be Lazy Rich’s turn to destroy Volume Sundays. Tickets are cheap and it is an 18+ event. Grab them for $20.

We got a fancy day party for all those still in Los Angeles that don’t have a hangover by then. Culprit Sessions 33 will be featuring the sounds of Matt Tolfrey, Laura Jones and Gavin Herlihy. The location is unknown, just kidding; it is at the Rooftop Bar at the Standard. Tickets are $20. 1-8 pm.

Sundays in Hollywood, sounds like a bestseller right? Dim Mak Sundays will be bringing you Bag Raiders this weekend with a DJ set. Dim Mak parties have this certain edge to them, it cannot be purchased it is only produced. It’s grunge, it’s hip before it’s “hip,” it’s cool, fucks it, it’s Dim Mak. Our pals at Monday Night Social have KaiserDisco entertaining the mailroom floor at Playhouse this coming week. Dim Mak has been running one of the most successful weekly Tuesday night party in Los Angeles for some time now. It is literally a house party in the Dim Mak Studios for $5 and with a simple RSVP you can catch some of best talent in somewhat of an underground scene.
