Music Review: Steve Aoki & Angger Dimas vs. Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike “Phat Brahms”

The answer is one of the hardest electro house tracks to have ever been released. “Phat Brahms” takes its main melodic progression from you guessed it, classical composer Johannes Brahms. His world famous “Hungarian Dance No. 5” served as the template for this track. The combination of the Angger Dimas drumline, heavy synth basslines of Dimtiri Vegas, Like Mike and Steve Aoki and Johannes Brahms’ melody provides for an awe-inspiring, rage inducing buildup that crescendos and peaks with a dubstep influenced drop that is sure to get any EDM culture crowd going.
