Reigning heavyweight champion David Guetta continues his rule of EDM culture by winning Best Electronic Act at the MTV European Music Awards held in Frankfurt on November 11th.
On winning the award David said:
I just heard that I won an EMA for Best Electronic act. I want to say thank you SO much! I’m really happy! I wish I could be there, but I’m here touring South America, which is also a lot of fun. Special thanks to all the fans that voted for me—love you.
Not shocking, Guetta has also been nominated for Best Electronic Act at the American Music Awards (along with Calvin Harris, Skrillex), airing this Sunday, November 18th on ABC.
