Avalon knows how to throw down for Halloween. Bloody limbs hanging from the ceiling, zombies greeting you and a girl in a casket in the front lobby was a nice touch. We walked in around midnight, Claude was already up on the decks dressed as an adorable giant gnome. He played an eclectic mix in his set, from his usual ghetto booty-tech, to some dubstep influences, even reggae. Grinning ear to ear, as usual. Saw lots of cool costumes mixed in with the usual clubby crowd in clunky heels and minidresses. After Claude stepped down, Justin Martin followed, playing more of the usual dirtybird tech-house style, mixed in with some D&B influences here and there. As the clubby crowd slowly weeded out and the riff-raff stayed around (us included), the music didn’t back down. Justin kept his set full-force all night. We don’t want to say what time he stepped off, but it was pretty late and we were glad we stayed to close out the night.
We love it when these guys come to town. They bring the best happy vibes, just dance and don’t care. Can’t wait to see them again.

And just cuz here's Claude Vonstroke’s remix of Infinity Ink's "Infinity." We love this summer anthem. We love you Claude.
