If you don’t have plans already for this coming Saturday, you might seriously want to consider this: This Saturday, November 24, Insomniac and ExchangeLA are holding an exclusive “It’s All Gone Pete Tong” film screening and performance. Pete Tong is one of the most known names in the EDM culture; he has been involved in the industry since the ‘80s, and has therefore cultivated a huge world of knowledge of dance music. He’s been a host on BBC Radio 1 for 20 years, helping to launch and nurture the careers of countless artists. The man is a production warehouse and has toured all over the world, wrangling in influences and innumerable fresh tunes.
This will be the first Los Angeles screening of the feature film, which will be followed by a special edition of Insomniac’s Saturday night concert series, “Inception,” featuring a headlining performance by Pete Tong. Ain’t too shabby huh? Entertainment for the evening will include DJ sets by “Los Angeles Dance Music Queen” Audrey Napoleon, UK dance music innovator Eats Everything, and as mentioned before, living legend Pete Tong himself closing out the evening’s festivities.
“We wanted to do something different for this event,” said Adi McAbian of ExchangeLA. “The entertainment experience we produce with Insomniac at Exchange is state-of-the-art, and we’re excited that the movie screening will add a whole new avenue for the event’s attendees to enjoy and experience dance music culture in a premium nightclub setting.”
Exchange L.A. will open at 8 pm on November 24for the exclusive screening which, by the way will include hors d’oevres and a special event menu of spirits and bottle service. Ticket holders for the November 24 installment of Insomniac presents “Inception” are welcome to register for the movie screening here.
