I think my favorite kind of dance music is the kind that you can enjoy in almost any setting. I like a track that can teach you a lesson or two if you put it on at home in your bedroom, but I also like a track that I can let loose to on the dancefloor and not think about anything. And in some rare occasions, someone merges these two types of song into one. Our good friend Ken Rangkuty, commonly known to the world as Keenhouse, is a man who consistently pulls off what I'm talking about. If the name sounds familiar, you may have read our interview with him back in July. And if not, you most definitely should as there's a lot to know about this especially interesting musician, DJ, and overall artist. Anyway, today we have the pleasure of premiering the music video for the next single off his LP, which came out earlier this year.
Ken actually produced the video entirely on his own, so I left the explanation of everything for him to tell:
The song already premiered around the release of the album, but it's dancier than the first single 'Where I Belong.' It shows another musical side while it deals with the same themes of separation, living in a dream world, and feeding off memories. I wanted to translate this into my own imagery of graphics and short animated scenes.
