Living in Los Angeles and dealing with the daily bumper-to-bumper traffic, I'm all about finding music that makes my drive a little less stressful and a little more therapeutic. When I came across a preview of Lockah's "Only Built 4 Neon Nites" EP, I instantly knew I had found my next dose of driving therapy. I was blown away by the poppy 80's vibe and the instant calm that came over me. From heavy synths to melodic chimes to the sound of rain pouring in the background, this EP is filled with what I describe as big noise... and I believe that is exactly what this EP is going to do when it drops March 18th via Donky Pitch—make some noise.
One of the tracks off the EP, "Let the Cool Air Breeze," was recently played on Skream and Benga's BBC Radio 1 Station and got a big thumbs up from Skream himself saying, "I'm feeling the 80's synths on these ones." If you wanna get lost in a head bopping, feel good tune peep the track below and keep an eye out for this producer.
