Hey guys, It came to my attention that the two of EDM's largest names are extending their powerful hands to an admirable cause. Many of you may well know about the hacktivist group who call themselves Anonymous. For those of you who do not, I invite you to find out by watching their video here. Anonymous has been tweeting for most of the day about TransCanada's Keystone XL Pipeline, a pipeline designed to transport tarsands oil from Western Canada to US Gulf Coast refineries in the South East. More than 70 environmental groups have sent an open letter to President Obama demanding that he put an end to the pipeline project as well as set new pollution standards for aging power plants. On January 7th, about 100 protestors occupied the lobby in the TransCanada office building. A few people were arrested after police came to break it up, and now Anonymous has been asking for help to reach the bail amount to set the last of the prisoners free. Skrillex, Borgore and a few more big names have been among the list of donators, which I thought was respectable, and so I needed to share the story with you. If you're interested in finding out more about the situation, feel free to check here and here. If any of you are interested in making a donation for the cause, check here.
