EDM News: You read that right ya'll, but before I jump to the big picture , I'll go ahead and let you know that this lunch rave, actually known as Lunch Beat was founded by 29 year old concept developer Molly Rängein June 2010, and the first event was arranged in a garage below Hötorget in the city of Stockholm, Sweden. 14 people attended this event. Now? Lunch Beat has been arranged in over 55 cities including locations on all continents. The project has been given significant attention in international media, such as BBC World, Business Week, Oprah and Slate, and has been covered in all major media (paper print, TV and radio) in Sweden.
Lunch Beat has now officially extended it's reach to New York City on April 24th from 12:30-1:30pm where DJ Space Jam will be featured on the decks, sure to give everyone nothing but the freshest beats in techno and house. The tickets are only 12 dollars, so if you happen to live in NYC, I would suggest adding something new to your rage resume and attending this event. But before you do, peep the official rules below:
1st rule: If it’s your first lunch at Lunch Beat, you have to dance.
