Last night, it was reported that Tiësto’s set at San Jose’s (CA) Electric Bounce was cancelled, due to a head injury the EDM culture DJ/producer sustained while entering the stage.
The news, which first broke on twitter, stated that Tiësto had hit his head on a LED monitor, which caused him to lose consciousness. Tweets also reported that Tiësto was bleeding from the head, but still wanted to play.

This morning, Tiësto tweeted the following out to his fans:
Tonight’s show, called “Amplify” and presented by LA’s 97.1 Amp FM, was scheduled to take place at the Hollywood Palladium with Afrojack, DJ Vice, and Lil Jon. Tiësto will not be performing, but there is no word if the show will go on.
The Youtube video below shows a person who is believed to be Tiësto, hit his head and collapse around the 7 second mark of the countdown. Immediately following, someone comes to his aid and signals to cut the production.
