It looks like EDM culture in Miami got a stay of execution, as Mayor Tomas Regalado and Commissioner Mark Sarnoff have withdrawn their resolution to ban Ultra Music Festival from taking place within the city, Miami New Times is reporting.

A discussion and vote on Sarnoff's and Regalado's initial resolution was supposed to take place today. Instead, the commission agreed to postpone this matter until April 24. Regalado also stated that the future hearing will be on " a totally different item."
The mayor later clarified his statement saying "It will be a discussion item." Which according to the MNT, means that this will not be a resolution discussion that requires a vote. But, there still can be some form of action by the city (read: might not be a ban, but there may be some new rules for Ultra).
