'Under The Electric Sky" Brings You EDC In 3D

Insomniac just announced their plans to bring the Electric Daisy Carnival to a theatre near you with Under the Electric Sky, an immersive 3D documentary.  Under the Electric Sky will explore the world of the Electric Daisy Carnival through the eyes of six different groups at EDC 2013 in Las Vegas.  Their stories will be paired with performances from Afrojack, Above & Beyond, Armin Van Buuren, Avicii, Hardwell and Tiësto.  Along with these performances, Kaskade was brought on to create the musical score to accompany the film.  The film will chronicle the love, community and pulsating life of the largest music festival in the US.

Behind-the-scenes footage and exclusive interviews with Insomniac’s Pasquale Rotella reveal the magic that makes this three-night, 345,000-person event a global phenomenon.  “I’m really proud of how Under the Electric Sky turned out because it truly captures the amazing spirit of Electric Daisy Carnival,” said Rotella. “If you can’t make it to EDC, this will be the next best thing to being there. Anyone who has ever been misunderstood or has looked for a place where they belong should see this movie.”
