TomorrowWorld went out with a bang of brand new electro and progressive house tracks. This week's #1 track is from extremely talented super-producer Martin Garrix and was played several times at TomorrowWorld, including by Tiesto, NERVO and Garrix himself. Our #2 track, although it didn't get a lot of play at TW, is so riveting that it had to be at the top of this week's chart. And at #3 is a Kill the Buzz remix hot off the press of an old school favorite. Who is ready to jump??
1. "Virus" (How About Now), Martin Garrix and MOTi, Spinnin' Records
I've been blasting this on loop for weeks. Probably my favorite Garrix track since "Wizard," with help from electro wizard MOTi, this is an big room track with a truly moving sound, backed up by just the right amount of vocals to give this banger heart. Out October 13th.
2. "Flicka" BURNS, Fly Eye
Who is BURNS? He's the producer behind this growling, monstrous club sound just released on talent cultivator Fly Eye. I bet you won't be able to listen to this and stay still. Out now.
3. "Exceeder" (Kill The Buzz Remix) Mason, Armada Music
I definitely recognize the old school sound behind the original track that Kill the Buzz remixes here. Buzz does an incredible job of using the original melodic riff in the intro, breaking down and breathing new electro life into it for a wormhole-inducing drop. Out October 18th.
4. "Break The House" Borgeous & Tony Junior, Spinnin' Records
A great collab from two top notch producers on the big room scene. I definitely hear Junior's signature sound in the melodic intro, and feel the heavy-hitting synths in the drop engineered by Borgeous. Out October 24th.
5. "Access Denied" Joey Dale, Doorn Records
Joey Dale has long been one of my favorite big room producers. He consistently overpowers the competition with signature heavy-hitting drops, and on this fresh banger, Dale sweetens the deal with a riveting electric guitar synth lead. Out October 27th.
6. "Hey Mami" DELORA, Spinnin' Records
This track starts out like a Diplo-style twerk tune, but the beepy sounds and sexy vocals build up to an insane electro drop with siren-like synths. DELORA is a force to be reckoned with. Out soon.
7. "Moments" Boris Way, TBD
Newcomer Boris Way seizes the moment with a driving progressive banger. Brings back memories of crazy shows at Webster Hall, triggered by the song's name. Vocal version out soon.
8. "Burn" KSHMR & Dallas K, Revealed Recordings
Another smasher on Hardwell's label that is sure to take festival crowds by storm. Stirring string synths introduce a sweeping melody followed by a bumping electro drop. Out now.
9. "Solid" Dannic & TV Noise, Revealed Recordings
Dannic still has the hot-hand in electro house music. This time creating a super-charged collab with none other than TV Noise. Addictive sounds. Out now.
10. "SuperWave" Ummet Ozcan, Spinnin' Records
Ummet hasn't rested since I interviewed him at EDC New York earlier this year. Keeping the electro sound alive, Ummet creates a satisfying jamming drop sure to be a part of his festival arsenal. Out October 27th.
