Electric Forest sold out, but there is still a way to get tickets. Two of the festival's "Plug-in" programs are accepting submissions to win tickets.
The first contest is to design the official sticker of Electric Forest 2015. The winner gets two (2) GA wristbands to this year's festival. Seeing as the festival has a large focus on art, this would be an extremely impressive way to get in. DETAILS HERE.
The second is a "Forest Amplifier" program to spread news about the festival online through mission. Once again, the winner gets two (2) GA wristbands to this year's festival. DETAILS HERE.
The sell out occurred over 3 months earlier than ever before. This can largely be blamed on the festival's extraordinarily impressive lineup which was just released yesterday. That means tickets sold out within 24 hours of the lineup's release. This GA sell out follows the VIP "Good Life" sell out which happened within minutes of going on sale in December.
This kind of demand is a good thing to note to anyone who thinks that electronic culture is a trend beginning wane. The demand is obviously higher than ever, especially for festivals like Electric Forest that mix in more than the traditional EDM headliners. Coachella made headlines this year when it sold out within 40 minutes of tickets going on sale.
We will likely be on scene this year to showcase the natural beauty that is the Sherwood Forest, and all the rustling from the likes of Skrillex and Kaskade that occurs within. So get your design on and come join us, otherwise we apologize for rubbing it in.
