Southern California is a heavenly place to reside for many reasons. Pardon the shameless yet humble brag, but it’s festivals like Minus Zero that prove my point. Located in the mountains only a few hours from LA, it’s a reminder of how lucky I am to have a completely different geographical landscape to plunder in a flash. So, although it may feel like it’s time to bust out those daisy dukes and perhaps a light cardigan, the forecast is predicting some snow at this chilly dance oriented destination! Pack a parka and expect an all around epic time partying on a frickin’ mountaintop...

Minus Zero Festival will play host to some of the biggest international & local DJs with skiing and snowboarding all day and night across nearly 60 trails and three resorts. Day one will feature Jamie Jones, Lee Burridge, Dance Spirit, Jon Charnis, Freddy Be, Human Resources & Desert Hearts lodge takeover featuring Lee Reynolds, Deep Jesus & Friends. Day 2 will featureCapital Cities, EC Twins, Mr.C, Doc Martin (Sublevel), Marques Wyatt & more.

FRIDAY FEBRUARY 27

JAY TRIPWIRE & MORE
TBD. LOS ANGELES
Presented by Dialogue

This shit is private. So private in fact that unless you are invited you might not get in. Consider this somewhat of an invitation, if there are tickets left that is…

We're going back to our underground roots with this Dialogue and we are proud to present JAY TRIPWIRE from Vancouver Canada & NIKITA from San Francisco. The vibe from the last Dialogue was so strong & unreal, this one won't be any different without a doubt.

Always sitting slightly off-centre, Jay Tripwire is an artist that walks the line as industry staple and ever changing innovator, releasing one standout release after another. His signature fusion of deep Detroit textures and intricate rhythms has led a career spanning two decades, with over 200 vinyl releases, 2 commercial mixed cd compilations, and four full length albums.

On the same day Dolly Parton, Janis Joplin, Edgar Allen Poe, his mother and grandmother were born, so too did San Francisco DJ NIKITA begin his enchanted existence. As a young boy in Denver, Colorado, NIKITA's childhood was similar to that of other creative youth, days filled with singing, playing the piano, and dancing to his mother's R&B albums. From an early age, NIKITA always knew he wanted to be an entertainer. Then, in 1993, a chance encounter with house music at an underground warehouse party would prove to be a pivotal moment in his life, ultimately guiding NIKITA towards the charmed life he lives today.
