Daniel T. – ‘The Sun and The Sky’

Daniel T. never fails to impress. This is a very Steve Zissou or Wes Anderson remix, taking you to a retro vision of the tropics with flourishes of eccentricity, painting the sun and the sky all shades of the best colors. Daniel T. is one half of the cosmic kids, but 100% amazing.

Moston & Malente – Stoned Faces

Nostalgia is no easy thing to tap into, but when you have the talent to touch on pleasant thoughts of things long past, oh boy is it powerful. Drift with us now through a selection from Moston & Malente that inspires mellow thoughts of the good ol’ days. There is an almost wonderful 60’s rock n roll feel to the vocal, and an all around laidback psychedelic sentiment that inspires a moment of meditation. This song takes you back, but the real question is, where does it take you?

Paradisko & FINAL DJs – Astropine (Munk Remix)

One quick way to describe the latest remix from GOMMA head honcho Munk is Germans remixing Germans collaborating with Germans. Yeah, a lot of German action going on, and we at Magnetic are all about it, so naturally we are elated to present in our fresh selection series Munk’s remix of “Astropine” by Paradisko & FINAL DJs.

Navid Izadi & C. Love – Midnight in Tulum

Always transcendent and full of love, you can consistently count on any and all of the Crew Love collective to take you away. One half of Wolf + Lamb, Navid Izadi, has worked up a special little something, that I believe serves as an ode to BPM in Tulum. The song is a darkly sensual romp that starts slow, but grooves to a full on funkfest. A selection for only the finest dancers, and greatest lovers. This is disco at its finest! Oh, and if you want a beautiful little poem, look below the video!

Bobby Nourmand – The Sound

Who knew Simon & Garfunkel would pair so well with deep house? Clearly Bobby Nourmand knew it! Not necessarily a remix, rather a bold refocus and sampling. A strong sense of isolation lingers throughout that makes this song a shadowy experience. Honestly, I almost feel justified to call this dark house opposed to deep house, and I do not believe that is even a thing yet. This is a beast of a tune that has its finger on the pulse and it will go in for the kill on even the best dance floors the world over.

Attaque – Formula 86 (MPHD’s Formula 72 Edit)

Techno tuesday in the right way with MPHD’s formula 72 edit of Attaque’s ‘Formula 86′. Torn down and toned down, MPHD demonstrates his techno strength once again on this re-edit. This version goes deep into your bones and keeps it pounding throughout with a ominous sense of something menacing, foreboding. “I wanted a more lowkey version of Attaque’s track “Formula 86″, so I took it, tore it down, and this is the end result.” – MPHD
