Top 10 House Tracks – 5.20.15 Chart

The weekly top ten house music chart is back just in time for your Memorial Day Weekend or even your Bank Holiday Weekend if you are in the UK. Wherever you may be, there is one thing for sure and that is underground is king when it comes to house music because more and more of it is getting released exclusively on vinyl.

This is completely evident on this week's chart because I have three vinyl-only exclusive cuts as well as a few multi-format releases as well. So cut your expectations short this week and open your ears to ten cutting edge pieces of house music that are sure to catch you by surprise! Enjoy our top 10 house tracks.

1. “Moments Us (Dubspeeka Remix)” Total Fitness, Safer At Night

Dubspeeka is one of techno's hottest pieces of property at the moment and he's been enlisted to put his personal touch of rugged rhythm on the already prolific "Moments Us" by the producer known as Total Fitness.

2. “Ghost (Lane 8 Rework)” Lane 8 feat. Patrick Baker, Anjunadeep

A whole slew of artists were brought on board to remix Lane 8's first single from his latest album but his own blissful re-work is the clear front-runner for me on this remix package as he does what he knows how to do best on this completely melodic affair.

3. “Selfish (The Analogue Cops Remix)” Dan Curtin Feat. Habida, Turquoise Blue

The Midwest electronic music stalwart known as Dan Curtin isn't going anywhere anytime soon and his latest vinyl-only outing on the Turquoise Blue imprint is a testament to that as he conquers all deep ends of the house and techno spectrum. Featured here on the top ten chart though is the Italian duo The Analogue Cops' bouncing re-rub of "Selfish".

4. “Break Down The Walls (Raumakustik Remix)” Compact Grey, Dear Deer Black

The German duo known as Raumakustik have ruffled the dance music world's feathers with their latest dance floor filler entitled "Raider" which is currently out now on Hot Trax. However, they've got another heater up their sleeve which just came out last week and it's their own take on Compact Grey's "Break Down The Walls".

5. “Wife (Extended Mix)” Pete Dafeet, Lost My Dog

This piano-house gem on on the Lost My Dog imprint is the lead single to label boss Pete Dafeet's first LP and unfortunate last ever release, "The Root, The Soul".

6. “Gotta Get You" Marsupials, Madhouse Records

House music is a dish best served deep and "Gotta Get You" by the Italian duo Marsupials is indeed just that.

7. “Dusty Roads” Sante, Avotre

The German producer Sante's latest outing on his own imprint is a heavy-hitting dose of dance-floor friendly tech-house which is out now both digitally and on vinyl as well.

8. “NRG” Palace, Hot Shit Recs In Effekt!

One of the underground's hottest producer's Palace meets one of the underground's hottest labels Hot Haus Records. This is out now exclusively on vinyl only!

9. “Make Some Love” Ben Sims presents Ron Bacardi, Karlovak

Mr. Tophat and Art Alfie's fire-hot underground label, Karlovak Recordings is back with a new series of releases focusing on unconventional Karlovak artists such as the premiere release as featured here by well-respected techno kingpin, Ben Sims!

10. “This One Goes To Eleven" Lee Van Dowski & Animal Trainer, Mobilee Records

The arpeggiator gods have spoken on Lee Van Dowski's triumphant return to Anja Schneider's imprint, Mobilee.
