It's been over a year since Rolling Stone first tipped the news that Kanye West and James Blake were discussing a collaboration. Since then, James Blake has been chipping away at his next album Radio Silence, but few details have reached the news wire - until today, that is. Pitchfork points to an Esquire interview with James Blake (Reddit) where Blake confirms collaborations with Kanye West, Bon Iver's Justin Vernon, and Connan Mockasin are slated for his upcoming album.

Blake has previously collaborated with Vernon on Enough Thunder's "Fall Creek Boys Choir", as has West on multiple occassions. When asked about their contributions to the album, Blake said, “I can confirm that they’re on it. Kanye — I’m with him today. We’d already started on something … today we should nail something down. If it doesn’t end up on the album you know it hasn’t worked.”

I guess for the planet's sake we should all pray it works, for who wouldn't want to hear what comes out of these sessions?
