The gaming legacy of the N series has evolved alongside the Internet generation, from 2004's browser-based N to the 360's N+, and now ultimately to N++: the ultimate incarnation of an uncompromising, hardened, minimalist platformer. N++ launched today for the PlayStation 4, and came with a strong electronic soundtrack. At a time when Major Lazer and Zedd just got placements with the latest NBA 2K incarnation, Metanet Software (the studio behind N++) leans towards the less-trodden pastures of the dance music spectrum, with acts like Clockwork, Marcel Dettmann, Ben Klock and Locked Groove contributing.
