At EDC this year, NGHTMRE dropped what might be the biggest trap song of the summer, "Street". The incessant pitter-patter of metallic synth-drums rain down with a ferocity rarely approached in today's overblown trap scene. A refreshing return to form for the genre, the track finally released on Mad Decent, and to celebrate, NGHTMRE makes his LA debut at CONTROL Avalon this Friday.
NGHTMRE will be joined by longtime trap honcho Luminox, who helped establish the genre through his takes on tracks like the Bingo Players' "Rattle". A double-header this massive is a must-go for major trap fans, but CONTROL outdo themselves by inviting NYC-based producer Codes to round out the heavy trap with some smooth, jackin' house. J Louis brings more downtempo, R&B-styled electronic music, and B-Sides is known for big trap remixes of hip-hop hits.
Tickets can be purchased HERE. And if you're not in LA, don't worry: Hollywood's only the first stop in a summer US tour for NGHTMRE that will cross the country to Miami, Minneapolis, Boston, and more.
