Top 10 House Tracks Of The Week – 7.15.15 Chart

It's quite exciting to be exposed to a genre that can supply an endless amount of amazing music week after week. Other genres in the entire music spectrum experience slow or even non-creative periods but house music seems to only get progressively more and more creative as time goes by. The pulsating rhythm, the driving beat, and that four on the floor time signature may not just be a sub-genre of electronic music. This exciting genre of music that makes people dance for hours on end very well may be the future sound of all music in general. Think about that and please do enjoy what I would like to consider the best tunes that house music has to offer this week.

1. “1979” Axel Boman, Pampa Records

It was just three charts ago when the Pampa Records camp blew my mind with their head honcho's beautifully enigmatic tune "XTC". Three weeks later and the label is unleashing another ethereal gem called "1979" by critically-acclaimed Swedish producer Axel Boman who makes his return to the label after a sorely missed five year absence. "1979" is out now exclusively on vinyl and it will soon see a digital release as well.

2. “Woods” &ME, Keinemusik

Keinemusik's latest outing comes from label favorite André Boadu who is known to the dance music world simply as &ME.

3. “The Warning (Richy Ahmed Remix Edit)” Logic, Strictly Rhythm

Twenty-five years ago on Strictly Rhythm Records, a house music collaboration led by Roger Sanchez put out a deep & jazzy house jam entitled "The Warning". In 2002, the Strictly Rhythm camp went under but in 2006 the British imprint Defected re-launched the label and there have been some glorious re-works of some of the classics by many of the contemporary house music icons. Exhibit example A by Hot Creations regular & Paradise resident, Richy Ahmed!

4. “Chordus Rolandus” Kiko Navarro, Exploited

Next up on the Black Jukebox series is the 13th edition which features this bright & upbeat tune perfect for the season by Mallorca based producer, Kiko Navarro.

5. “Illusion” DAVI, Tenampa Recordings

All Day I Dream resident & all-around crowd-favorite, DAVI has been steadily carving out a sound which can uniquely be identified as his own. "Illusion" off of the Metanoia EP captures his sound quite well as it features a staccato of Arabian influenced melodies over the top of his signature tribal rhythm.

6. “Drive Me Crazy (Vocal Mix)” Dan Mela & Lady Blacktronika, What Ever Not Records

What Ever Not Records head-honcho, Den Mela teams up with house music songstress Lady Blacktronika for a late 80s house music inspired gem.

7. “Anamnesis” Ran Salman, Steyoyoke

Tel Aviv producer, Ran Salman pushes the boundaries of house and techno even further with his latest forward-thinker entitled "Anamnesis".

8. “Between Your Arms (Dachschund Remix)” Onur Ozman, Noir Music

Swiss producer, Dachshund makes his debut on Noir Music with a highly effective floor-filling remix of Onur Ozman's "Between Your Arms".

9. “Let Me (Dave Seaman Remix)” Habischman ft Thomas Gandey, Lapsus Music

Progressive house legend, Dave Seaman gives Habischman's "Let Me" a completely epic makeover!

10. “Stardust” BOg, Soulfooled

Alex Niggemann & his Soulfooled imprint present the long-awaited second edition of Soulfooled Cribs which features the aptly titled "Stardust" by Parisian based producer, Bog.
