This weekend I will be attending the third annual III Points Festival in the Miami's wonderful art district known as Wynwood. Taking place at the truly breathtaking Mana, this year's celebration of art will feature sounds by pioneers of the underground on one of the city's best sound systems.
The line-up is stellar from top to bottom -- with names like Nicholas Jaar, T.E.E.D., Damian Lazarus, and Ghostface Killah jumping off the page -- but it is not just about the music this year; No, this is a truly multi-dimensional affair. III Points is partnering with ICA Miami to bring the museum's "Open Call: Web Based Art" exhibit to the festival grounds in order to supplement the sounds with the spectacular sights of digital/web based art from around the globe.
Yes, this is an experience that art aficionados will thoroughly enjoy. It is also one that will provide attendees with a glimpse into the future via the tech-talks and installations that will take place throughout the day: events that will showcase the cutting edge of where art meets technology.
As you can see, this is a can't miss event with something for everyone. Tickets are available via the III Points website and at the following Florida record shops:
Sweat Records (5505 NE 2 Ave, Miami, FL 33137)
Radioactive Records (845 North Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304)

Arrows Aim Records (10 N Main St, Gainesville, FL 32601)
