Native Instruments is making some big updates that EDM producers are going to love

Native Instruments just keeps pushing its product lines in all the right directions and the Komplete Kontrol upgrade and new KK S88 full-size midi controller are no exception. Check out the video and press info below.

The KOMPLETE KONTROL 1.5 software update is the biggest yet. It introduces Native Kontrol Standard™ (NKS™) – a new plug-in format which unlocks KOMPLETE KONTROL so that third-party instruments can access the Light Guide, Smart Play features, and more – with all instrument parameters intelligently mapped. VST support opens the gates to your entire software instrument library. And welcome KOMPLETE KONTROL S88 – a pro keyboard with fully weighted, hammer-action keys. Join the evolution – starts October 27.

NKS Total Integration

Until now, total deep-level integration with S-Series keyboards was reserved for KOMPLETE Instruments. This changes with NKS. Leading plug-in manufacturers, including Arturia, u-he, and Output Audio, are on board, and are currently updating their products to be fully NKS-ready – the first NKS instruments are scheduled for October 27.
