The weather is getting colder but these ten house tracks are as hot as ever
Fortunate War

December may be a slow month for electronic music but house music never takes a break and our top ten artists on the chart can certainly attest to that thanks to ten ultra high quality four on the floor tracks.

1. 'Fuchsia' - Fortunate War [Blah Blah Blah Records]

My top tune of the week honors go to a relatively new producer who goes by the name of Fortunate War. He's a young British producer named Zak Woodman who I featured in my top ten chart back in March and he's back in it again this time thanks to an astoundingly gorgeous production he calls "Fuchsia." The tune has a fresh sound but at the same time it could make one nostalgic for the progressive sounds of the late 1990s from artists like Sasha & Digweed. So as much as one would like to pigeon-hole this brilliant track, it definitely stands in a league of its own thanks to the brilliant unique production qualities from the artist known as Fortunate War.

2. 'Magnets (V.I.P.)' - Disclosure Ft. Lorde [Island Records]

House music's biggest duo gives their collaboration with Lorde, "Magnets" a marvelous pitched down 4/4 re-rub.

3. 'Bright Lights (Walker & Royce Remix)' - 12 Stories ft. Digitaria [VIVa MUSiC]

Steve Lawler's long running imprint VIVa MUSiC signs the freshly formed duo known as 12 Stories which is comprised of Mark Jenkyns and Christopher Sylvester.

"Bright Lights" features the sensual vocals of Daniella from Digitaria and the highlight of the release for me is the remix by NYC's own Walker & Royce!

4. 'Nodes (Sasse & Ed Ed Remix)' - Javier Logares & Julian Ganzer [Moodmusic]

Press play for some absolutely magical electronic music courtesy of Moodmusic label boss, Sasse along with Ed Ed for their remix of "Nodes."

5. 'Moti On' - Pablo Say [Truesoul]

Truesoul is definitely in a position to be called the tech house label of 2015 and their latest floor filling release from Spanish producer Pablo Say only reinforces this statement.

6. 'Freeplay' - Leo Wolfel [Let's Play House]

"Freeplay" by newcomer Leo Wolfel on Let's Play House has been available on vinyl for about the past month but as of last Friday, it's now available on Beatport as well.

7. 'UFO' - Theo Kottis [Moda Black]

Theo Kottis makes his return to Jaymo & Andy George's Moda Black imprint with a forward thinking, emotive tune by the name of "UFO".

8. 'Sturdiness' - Vidaloca & Piem [Lost Records]

Leftwing & Kody's Lost Records imprint delivers yet another stomper this time from Spanish duo Vidaloca & Piem.

9. 'Cougar' - Denis Horvat [AEON AUDIO]

Huge, amazing, and enormous are a few of the things that people are saying about this tune and it's no wonder why because upon being hypnotized by the pulsating beat for about the first three minutes of the track, the tune takes off in a big way with a driving beat and a spellbinding melody.

10. 'I Believe In You' - Riva Starr [Snatch! Records]

I'm a little late to the party on this one but I simply couldn't resist Riva Starr's absolutely infectious dance floor hit, "I Believe In You."
