A complex yet delicate remix from Ulrich Schnauss

Back in October, Yppah (pictured above) released his 4th studio album Tiny Pause which was received warmly by his loyal fans both old and new, many claiming it's his most intimate work to date. His musical style is dynamic and diverse with psychedelic motifs and ethereal soundscapes that provide the overall feel of his complex arrangements. In a similar manner to the likes of Emancipator, Tycho, Boards of Canada and Baths, Yppah's productions span a multitude of genres, each track telling a different story.

One of the albums most popular tracks, 'Occasional Magic', will be graced with a remix EP due to drop on December 18th. Germany's own Ulrich Schnauss was tapped to take on the honor and he's delivered an atmospheric ballad that will transport you to his psychedelic dreamworld. The down-tempo rhythms set the foundation for a multitude of fluttering synth notes to carry the listener to new heights. It's a wonderful arrangement and clearly our favorite from the forthcoming EP.

Purchase Tiny Pause, released via Counter Records.
