Korg, a name synonymous with synthesizers, has finally announced the new polysynth, the Minilogue.

Korg has announced that its new polyphonic synthesizer, the Minilogue, will be released later this month. This announcement comes as no surprise as Korg has recently been shifting its focus towards miniature and recreational options of classic favorites. Here's a preview of the new Minilogue by Daniel Fisher, who presents us with a hands on demo.

This synthesizer has a four voice analogue engine, a 16-step polyphonic note and motion sequencer, an arpeggiator and a delay all built in. There are also two oscillators and a noise generator, a filter with switchable slope settings, a pair of ADSR envelopes, LFO and an amp. An LED display doubles as an oscilloscope, giving real time feedback of your unique sound design.

The Korg Minilogue will cost $500 and be released January 21st.
