Here are some key items to help you look your best

It may seem hard to believe, but SXSW is right around the corner. Before you head down to Austin to soak up some sun and catch a few shows, make sure you're prepared with everything you need to make the most of the week.

Sunglasses are a must. There might still be six more weeks of winter where you live, but in Austin it's already summer. That means it's going to be bright — really bright. But don't break out your super fragile $800 shades quite yet. You'll want something tough enough to withstand being crushed when you accidentally leave them in your back pocket at a film screening, and affordable enough to replace when you inevitably lose them in the beer tent.

Speaking of the beer tent — when you've got two fistfuls of Bud Light, it's going to be hard to check the time on your phone to make sure you're not missing the next show. That's why it's important to arm yourself with a good watch. Something simple and easy to read, ideally with a backlight so you can discreetly sneak a peek in a dimly lit theater without blinding everyone in the vicinity.

Eventually you'll want to cool off and clean up. Make sure you pack some small Travel Face Wipes so you can dab the sweat from your brow and get back to looking your best without ever having to retreat to the hotel.

A combination Phone Case and Wallet will keep your credit card at the ready so you can buy tacos at a moment's notice, while ensuring that your brand new iPhone doesn't end up smashed to bits at the bottom of a mosh pit.

You're going to want a place to stash all of this stuff while you bounce around Austin, so make sure you bring a small backpack with lots of pockets that you'll be able to access easily. It also doesn't hurt to get one with a bright interior lining that'll make it easier to spot everything inside once the sun goes down.

Equip yourself with everything on this list, and you'll be ready for whatever SXSW throws at you.
