Playful and filled with lament, Jynjo's first release of 2016 unearths fresh new sounds for bass house to explore.

With Jynjo, LA-based producer Austin Foley has been carving a niche in the realm of indie dance and future bass that lies somewhere between ODESZA and Porter Robinson. He's been gaining traction as a live performer, having opened for Prince Fox, SNBRN, Dr. Fresch, Elephante, & Madeaux over the past year.

Now, with his first release of 2016, Jynjo makes a bass house jam as a one-off detour. "Verdant" is playful and inviting, contrasting gleaming arpeggios and twiddling hats with wistful vocals and twisted croons of metallic bass. Its sound is foreign but familiar, a new spin on the trendy sounds of the time, and a sign that Jynjo is versatile and prepared to make his unique stamp on all sorts of musical vibes. The song is available for free download via ToneDen, and follow Jynjo on SoundCloud to keep up with upcoming releases.
