Travis Scott Devault Remix

All About That Basssssssss

This week, I decided to focus on heavy, experimental styles within the trap and bass music. Hope you enjoy!

TRAVIS SCOTT- 'I CAN TELL (DEVAULT REMIX)'

Devault makes his second chart appearance with this ominous future bass remix.

GUNKST - 'SCRAPES'

Gunkst's unique production style blends grime influences with club stylings as well as some elements of trap.

HAYWYRE - 'IMPULSE'

Haywyre never ceases to impress me, and his most recent release didn't let me down. Impulse is one of his heaviest yet, although he manages to add some melodic elements to balance the heavy bass work.

DAWN - 'NOT ABOVE THAT'

Fell in love with this song as soon as I heard it. Considering Machinedrum produced it, it only makes sense. This one is more on the future bass end of the trap and bass spectrum.

ALEX YOUNG - 'RIGHT NOW'

Recently, Alex Young announced his departure from traditional EDM in favor of more experimental, genre-less productions. This is one of the first tastes of his upcoming album, and it has me very excited for its release. Gotta love that Trailer Park Boys intro.

HMU - 'BROKE BOI'

The HMU boys crafted a future beat masterpiece with this one. 808's boom beneath intricate percussion with a few choice Drake samples peppered in between.

SHAKH & DREWEI - 'RSYNC'

One of my favorites off the Saturated Vol. 5 Compilation. Hypnotic analog melodies dance around the stereo spectrum while psychedelic bass lines undulate in the lower frequency range.

SISTER CITY- 'BLOOD MIND'

Hej Fund, Grenier, and EPROM unite once again for a club banger like no other. If you're into underground club music, you'll love this one.

FLUME - 'SMOKE & RETRIBUTION (EKALI REMIX)'

Ekali flipped Flume's original into a massive chill trap track.

FERAL - 'WASP'

I wanted to stick to just one song from the Bromance Records compilation, but this one was too good to leave out. Feral's production style has that signature LuckyMe sound, but with a little extra grit. Think S-Type but heavier. Feral is a producer worth keeping an eye on. Trust.
