Los Angeles natives Daniel Goodman and Ian Johnson formed Gladiator back in 2010, fueled by their passion for producing unique and genre-bending dance music. Today they continue to showcase their distinct sound profile with releases on Fools Gold Records and have established themselves as steady suppliers of bass fueled productions while also maintaining a rigorous tour schedule.

They are due to perform for their hometown crowd at Avalon Hollywood celebrating the 7 Year Anniversary of Control LA and have delivered a chart filled with fellow local artists that should definitely be on your radar. Check out the collection of artists below and be sure to catch them perform this Friday.

Dr Fresch & Jackal - Netflix and Kill

Love both of these dudes but Dr Fresch will always hold a special place in our hearts. We met for the first time backstage at a Regional College Battle-of-the-DJs followed by a 3 act show of Rusko, Tokimonsta and your boys! Tony and the sound guys were having a little trouble with the Serato set up and the bearded wonder may have just saved his set. Those Rane 57’s can be tricky!

Boombox Cartel - Louis the Child ft. K.Flay - It’s Strange (Boombox Cartel Remix)

Very hot up and coming producers, love the mix of ethereal melodies and heavy ass drops for that nice point-counter point every dance floor needs. Always a highlight in our sets, hope you enjoy this full time slapperoni pizza.

Vindata - Clean Bandit - Stronger (Vindata Remix)

Every song these two make sends me for a whirl, I’ll never be ready for every direction Branden and Jared take their music, but I will be listening intently. This remix is no different in that it’s VERY different - enjoy it.

Anderson Paak - Am I Wrong ft. Schoolboy Q prod. Pomo

We met AP for the first time at Hard Summer seconds after he finished destroying the stage with Mr Carmack performing his slammer “Drugs.” He was sweaty and exhausted but couldn’t keep a smile off his face, welcomed every hand shake and hug and was thrilled to just be a part. We love everything he’s worked on from his own solo stuff to a smattering of features on Dre’s “Compton”, we wish nothing but the best for this rising star.

Grabbitz - Here With You Now

Here’s an artist we’ve seen grow literally from the ground up, surrounded by good people who want nothing but the best for him. Can’t wait to see where he goes from here but this drumstep banger is a prime example of his work.

Astronomar - Dick Dick Booty Booty Dick (Reprise)

Marlin is hands down our favorite Alaskan and vocal chopping connoisseur. Astronomar stays making club bangers that make you sweat and giggle at the same time.

Mark Johns - Amy Winehouse - Rehab (Cover prod. Tennyson)

Naomi is an amazing singer and an awesome person to work with, we even managed to finish a song together between bouts of laughter and stories about EDM missed connections. A kind soul and a talented artist.
