Lazy Rich is the don behind Big Fish Recordings, known for its electro output. He first came to prominence alongside Porter Robinson on their 2010 hit "Hello" featuring Sue Cho, then set the tone for the complextro movement with his 2012 smash "Better Wipe That Up". He's spun new elements on his music to keep it fresh, like rapper Trinidad Jame$ on his stint on Spinnin' last year, "Hit That", but his production and sets have largely remained purist to his high-octane energy and big room melodic vibes.
Finally, however, Lazy Rich takes it full-pop with his latest track "Give Me Crazy". It retains the pitched rises and rickety bass that are the backbone of his sound, but slows it down and lets them interact with the vocals. The closest Lazy Rich has been to this level of pop before was probably his work with Chris Lake - "Stand Alone" and the "Sundown" remix circa 2011-2012. Oliver Heldens & Nicky Romero are among those supporting this track, so let's see if this is the beginning of a resurgence for Lazy Rich. "Give Me Crazy" is now available on Spotify .
