The UK based promoters say that the island, Obonjan, will be "a place for arts, ecology and wellbeing."

Last year, news surfaced that UK promoters Sound Channel had purchased Obonjan, an island off the coast of Croatia. Sound Channel, the company behind Unknown Festival, has stated that they want to transform the island, located near Sibenik on the Dalmatian coast, into "the world's first curated entertainment tourist destination." They have now shared more details about the venture, which will be open this year from July 18th through mid-September.

Most of the information can be found in an online brochure accessible via the island's official website. It outlines a number of foods, shopping options, music programs as well as features pictures of the islands beauty. Little has been announced regarding artists that will be gracing the island this summer, but Roy Ayers, DJ Shadow, Matthew Herbert, and Lindstrom are all confirmed so far. Be sure to check out the brochure and keep your eyes out for this tropical island adventure!
