As you may already know, What So Not used to consist of Emoh Instead and Flume, but the latter announced he was leaving the outfit last year and is set to release an album in the coming months.

Now with Emoh Instead solely at the helm, he's continuing the What So Not name with a fresh release produced in collaboration with GANZ. Fellow Aussie JOY takes control of the vocals and adds a soft and delicate touch to the melodic bass track. It's easy to see this one going off on stages all around the world this summer.

What So Not has also revealed that he will be performing a special surprise set on the first day of Coachella. Writing on Facebook, "I may be doing a surprise set at Coachella tomorrow I may be bringing some special guests I may be premiering new music". Chekc out a photo from what appears to be soundcheck below.

'Lone (feat. JOY.)' is set to be released on OWSLA this Friday 4/8. Listen to the new track below.
