Pioneer has announced the launch of the DDJ-RR and DDJ-RB, two new controllers for the Rekordbox DJ software, as well as a new update for the software itself. 

DDJ-RR Key Features: $699

  • This new controller comes with a free license for Rekorbox DJ. 
  • On-job display with large jog wheels that illuminate letting you know the status of each deck at a glance.
  • 16 performance pads with set colors for Hot Cues or Pad FX.
  • Sequencer that allows you to create sample sequences on the fly. 
  • Slip mode, needle search and dedicated Fx controls for smooth yet intricate mixing.

DDJ-RB Key Features: $249

  • 2-channel mixer
  • PC Master out that adds flexibility and mobility allowing you to play straight through your laptop or whatever is connected to it. 
  • 16 Performance Pads with sequence call, Hot Cues and pad FX. 
  • Simple layout that mirrors the Rekordbox DJ layout. 

Rekordbox 4.11 Software Update: In addition to the new controllers, the Rekordbox software update brings in the Sequence Load/Call functionality which allows you to load your sample sequences to the deck to scratch them as well as the PC Master Out compatibility.
