Crookers

We're back with another top ten house chart comprised of a high quality set of  floor-stomping tunes including Joris Voorn, Riva Starr, and a highly unexpected house tune from Crookers!

1. 'A PLACE IN MY HEART' - CROOKERS FEAT. KYM MAZELLE [DEFECTED]

About ten years ago or so, Italian producer Crookers hit the scene with his own brand of campy electro that hipsters and ravers alike were going gaga for. However, very recently the Italian electro don has jumped that ship and has quickly found comfort in producing Chicago influenced house that seems to never go out of style.

Peep this flawless cover he's done of Kym Mazelle's garage anthem 'A Place In My Heart' which I'm calling house music's best tune of the week.

2. 'JACK IN TOWN' - MARTIN WASLEWSKI [EXPLOITED GHETTO]

Second on the chart but certainly not secondary in quality is Martin Waslewski's ass-shaking, off-kilter, newest dance floor filler.

3. 'MONEY (RIVA STARR REMIX)' - GORGON CITY [CROSSTOWN REBELS]

Gorgon City makes a smashing debut on the coveted Crosstown Rebels imprint with their newest single 'Money' which features remixes by both the legendary David Morales and of course this devastating floor-filling re-rub from none other than Riva Starr!

4. 'BALKIA (D-NOX & BECKERS REMIX)' - D-FORMATION [SUARA]

Spanish dance music veteran, D-Formation makes his debut on Suara and it features this prolific remix by Germany's own, D-Nox & Beckers.

5. 'ANYMORE' - MONOPLAY [POKER FLAT RECORDINGS]

Russian producer, Monoplay makes a stellar debut on the long-running Poker Flat imprint with a seemingly flawless production in the form of 115 BPM gem.

6. 'THINGS WE DO' - BOOKS [XVI RECORDS]

The West London based producer known simply as BOOKS has put together a beautiful, jazz inspired house cut that is sure to make the purists blush in envy.

7. 'DAWN (GREEN MIX)' - JORIS VOORN [GREEN]

It's been nearly a year since the Dutch wizard of house released any solo material but it has been well worth the wait thanks to his latest Detroit inspired dance tune.

8. 'RUNAWAY' - BEN REMEMBER [TOOLROOM]

This latest Toolroom Tech House banger coming from Ben Remember has been rinsed quite a bit on Radio 1 Fridays and I'm not mad about it because this tune is absolutely filthy.

9. 'KING KONGAS (WADE REMIX)' - EMERY WARMAN [VIVa MUSiC]

Yet another banging tech house cut in the chart this week except this time coming in the form of a fire hot remix from the Spanish tech house producer simply and curiously known as Wade.

10. 'GET DOWN' - BRASSICA [CIVIL MUSIC]

This genius dance floor creation by the mysterious artist known as Brassica sounds like nothing else at the moment. Vibe out and enjoy grooving to this one.
