The means to create music is evolving at a rapid pace and more producers are looking to express themselves in various ways. That being said, one aspect that's been a valuable tool for producers for decades, is the use of samples. "There is no more need for the multi-million dollar budget to make a record; a hit can be produced in a bedroom, a garage, or even in transit."
That notion is why Converse is tapping into the music industry with a project called the Converse Rubber Tracks Sample Library, which features talented producers supplying samples for anyone to use for free.
"The Converse Rubber Tracks Sample Library is a growing collection of audio samples recorded at Converse Rubber Tracks studios. The library is free to use and all samples are completely royalty free – no strings attached."
Some of our favorite producers have supplied their sounds, including Matrixxman, Com Truise, Machinedrum, Mount Kimbie, Astro Nautico, and much more. If you're a producer or not, there's plenty of loops and mixes that are available.
