Hackers target popular musicians Twitter accounts and post various messages

Various Twitter accounts were hacked over the weekend, including Tame Impala, Bon Iver, Jack Black's Tenacious D and Keith Richards, posting a series of fake messages.

The Tenacious D Twitter account posted that Jack Black had died: “It is with a heavy heart I am to announce that Jack Black passed away last night at 3:37 am. The cause of death is yet unknown.”

While the Tame Impala Twitter account posted a dangerous message in the form of a bomb threat: "I HAVE 15 C4’S IN MY BAG AND 12 PIPEBOMBS IN MY BAG ALSO".

Bon Iver's Twitter handle was changed to “@ihavelegcancer” and posted an insensitive tweet regarding the death of Muhammad Ali. Kieth Richards' was also hacked and quickly informed his followers of the situation.

Although little is known about who hacked the accounts and why, it is believed they are all in some way linked.
