"Can you tell I love Mexican food and pork!?"

ALX is one of our absolute favorite Miami locals who has been steadily gaining momentum in the community due to his captivating DJ sets and hypnotic original productions. Whether it's with his residency at Club Space or through his record label, Descend, he's proving to be a guiding force in the world of underground Techno.

Earlier this year we premiered his debut EP on his very own Descend imprint, which was met with high praise from many, so we thought it appropriate to follow up with the burgeoning artist once again. This time we grabbed an exclusive guest mix, along with his favorite restaurants to grub at in Miami. If you're down there or just looking to visit, it's highly recommended that you check out these spots.

Listen to the exclusive mix and view the foodie selections from ALX below.

1. Coyo Taco, Wynwood

My favorite Mexican food spot! The food is so authentic and you really can't go wrong with anything you order there, everything is amazing!

2. Pubbelly, Miami Beach

If you love pork it doesn't really get any better. The Mofongo is a definite must, as well as the Short Rib Dumplings.

3. Swine, Coral Gables

Another pork lovers dream; this restaurant has a loaded menu of greateats. The fried pork and waffles is one of the top menu items. The Swineburger has to be one of my favorite burgers in Miami.

4. Islas Canarias, West Miami

This is the best Cuban food you could eat anywhere, with the exception of my parents home cooked food. Anything you would hope to eat when it comes to Cuban food, they will nail down.

5. Bodega, Miami Beach

This is another one of my favorite Mexican spots. They have a great selection of tacos that are all amazing. My personal favorite is the "tacos al pastor".
