Dance music's biggest genre conquers the competition yet again
Deapmash

Everyone has a favorite label and a favorite artist, but for a true connoisseur like myself, I have trouble nailing down a true favorite week in and week out. The techno genre always seems to be ripe with new, quality producers and with this kind of raw talent always bubbling up, it makes it very easy to select the best and not just the biggest. So aside from a few artists in the chart such as the legendary Mark Broom, take a listen to some of the brightest new stars in techno this week on our top ten techno chart.

1. 'PROCESS' - DEAPMASH [BNR TRAX]

French techno producer Julien Saillenfait aka Deapmash gets heavy and indeed very heady as well on his debut release via Boys Noize's own imprint BNR TRAX.

2. 'NETWORK' - EJECA [EXPLORIS]

Ejeca dives in head first on the 9th ever release on his own Exploris imprint.

3. 'OBLIVION' - MONIKA KRUSE MEETS PIG&DAN [TERMINAL M]

Techno icon Monika Kruse pairs up with techno's hottest duo on Terminal M for a big room affair simply entitled 'Oblivion.'

4. 'PHANTOM HOUSE (DIDIER DLB REMIX)' - MIRO PAJIC [LAZERSLUT]

I won't front and act like I know much about the remixer and the artist on this release. All I can tell you is that this track, along with the other two on the E.P. package, are some seriously high quality underground tunes that are very deserving of some recognition.

5. 'MEMORY REMAINS' - BALTHAZAR & JACKROCK [ANALYTICTRAIL]

Bulgarian duo Balthazar & JackRock are coming in real hot with this driving mammoth of a tune called 'Memory Remains.'

6. 'FIRE MOMENT' - LANDMARK [GLASGOW UNDERGROUND]

Italian techno producer, Landmark's latest release is called 'Fire Moment' and the tune is indeed more than just a moment of fire. It's a seven minute plus onslaught of driving techno that is sure to take any set up at least three notches.

7. 'ANSWER' - TAPESH [AKULEE]

German producer Tapesh unleashes the second ever release on his own imprint containing this quasi-psychedelic dance floor gem.

8. 'SENSE OF TIME' - DIMI MECHERO [ORANGE RECORDINGS]

Amsterdam's Orange Recordings has taken a significant position in dance music's biggest genre as of late, thanks to a variety of releases that seem to resonate with dance music fans all across the board.

9. 'FREE YOUR MIND (MARK BROOM REMIX)' - SECLUDED [SECLUDED]

UK techno producer Mark Broom has been consistently banging them out since way back in '92 and he keeps the early 90s vibe alive with this magnificent rework of 'Free Your Mind' by Secluded.
