For an act that more or less fell off the map not too long ago, Thugli came back on the scene swinging. The Toronto, Ontario duo largely flew under the electronic music community's collective radar for well over a year after the release of their 2013 Onslaught EP, but made a compelling comeback earlier this year in the form of "Sic 'Em."

A hyphy trap anthem with just the right amount of triangle synth cheese, "Sic 'Em" reminded bass heads that Thugli was still a force to be reckoned with. Paired with its highly conceptual music video, the song has effectively propelled the duo back into EDM's orbit.

Pat Drastik of Thugli made time to talk to Magnetic Magazine in conjunction with FUXWITHIT about the perspective he and Tom Wrecks gained during their down time. In addition to personal reflections on the #RealDJing movement, he shared his thoughts on the decline of music streaming platform SoundCloud as well as a host of other topics.
