Joris Voorn, Andrea Oliva, and Paul Woolford headline this week's house chart
JorisVoorn

Yet another prolific house chart for the books featuring an update of an Arnold Jarvis 1986 classic, another disco banger from Red Rack'Em, and of course an unbelievably epic remix from none other than Joris Voorn!

1. "FIREWORKS (JORIS VOORN REMIX)" - BOY BIANCHI [GREEN]

The brand new Joris Voorn re rub of Boy Bianchi's "Fireworks" is a guaranteed goose bump inducing affair that will most certainly make many year end, best of lists.

2. "NEBULA (NICK TRIKAKIS REMIX)" - LOST MIDAS FEAT. RACHEL GELLER [TRU THOUGHTS]

Up and coming L.A. based producer, Nick Trikakis has been cutting his teeth in the dance music industry by both working with and training some of the best in the biz. Early on at Native Instruments and more recently by working under superstars like Nicole Moudaber and Pete Tong. Plus, along the way he's had some minor success in remixing a handful of tunes which have seen airplay on KCRW. But most recently, he's remixed Lost Midas' downtempo beauty "Nebula" by giving it a very infectious four to the floor makeover that I simply can not and do not want to get out of my head.

3. "HOLY GHOST" - PAUL WOOLFORD [AUS MUSIC]

The highly prolific Aus Music imprint gives the equally prolific , Paul Woolford the final release of the year, Father, Son, & Holy Ghost and featured here on the top ten house chart is the most driving of the trio, "Holy Ghost".

Stick around for the five minute mark in order to catch a ridiculously sick low-frequency breakdown.

4. "ORIGINS" - BOG [TENAMPA RECORDINGS]

BOg's absolute beauty of a tune called "Origins" features one of the most captivating arpeggios to come around all year long.

5. "ERRETICA (BAMBOOK & QUINA EDITION)" - JAVIER ORDUNA [CHAPTER 24 RECORDS]

Javier Orduna's Erretica EP features five unique tunes that all vary in originality but Bambook & Quina's update finds itself carrying the flag as the most floor friendly of the bunch.

6. "TOMATO POPE" - RED RACK'EM [BERGERAC]

English producer Red Rack'Em easily has one the year's's biggest underground tunes under his belt, "Wonky Disco Bassline Banger" and he continues the 2016 onslaught with yet another disco goodie entitled "Tomato Pope" and it's out now on his own imprint, Bergerac.

7. "VERMONA" - ANDREA OLIVA [CUTTIN' HEADZ]

Try sitting still to Andrea Oliva's "Vermona." A definite contender for house tune of the year!

8. "TAKE SOME TIME OUT (ILIJA RUDMAN RECONSTRUCTION MIX)" - ARNOLD JARVIS [4TH FLOOR RECORDS]

Arnold Jarvis' 1987 house classic may be almost twenty years old but it's getting a special re-release that features a very proper update from Croation producer, Ilija Rudman.

9. "ASPIRATIONS" - THIRD SON [NATURA SONORIS]

British producer, Third Son makes an astounding two-track debut on Henry Saiz' Natura Sonoris imprint and featured here on the chart is  the ethereal title track, "Aspirations."

10. "VOIX GRAVE (CHRISTIAN PROMMER VERSION)" - JOHANNES BRECHT & CHRISTIAN PROMMER [DIYNAMIC]

Johannes Brecht's take on "Voix Grave" may be the fierce one on the package but Christian Prommer's version takes the cake for me thanks to the beautifully euphoric breakdown that is guaranteed to make you raise your hands and close your eyes.
